Mindful Kokedama Making - The indigo project

Mindfulness isn’t just about meditation. If you love to work with your hands, you can learn about mindfulness by getting crafty! Kokedama is an ancient Japanese technique, (meaning moss ball), where a plant’s root system is bound with moss and string, transforming it into a mini art form.

You’ll get to immerse yourself in mindful making by learning all about kokedama and how to make your own in this guided two-hour workshop. You will learn step-by-step how to make your own kokedama and how to incorporate the Japanese Wabi-Sabi principles of embracing imperfection, impermanence and awareness of natural beauty into your everyday life.
